The Faculty of Desert Agriculture Organizes a Field Trip to SEKEM
Under the directives of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hussein, to provide distinguished practical training for students. The Faculty of Desert Agriculture, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Ghani El-Gendy, Dean of the College, held a field visit to SEKEM for bio-sustainable agriculture. The engineers in charge of the work explained the production and manufacturing steps in the plant and animal production sectors, the factory for extracting active compounds from medicinal plants, and the biofertilizer factory, passing through the quality control units to achieve compliance with export standards.
