KSIU Veterinary Medicine staff supervises their students during their summer training in Ras Sudr
Veterinary Medicine students conducted their summer training at the Desert Research Center/Ras Sudr and Al Zahraa Horse Farm to gain expertise in ultrasound and the examination of female horses for pregnancy.
They also learned to detect diseases of the digestive system, identify movement obstructions, diagnose common horse diseases, and participate in an immunization campaign for animal farms against foot-and-mouth disease and Rift Valley fever in Ras Sudr.
