Accordingly, King Salman International University will begin providing comprehensive healthcare services to all its new and returning students through centers spread across the country. A healthcare card will be issued to each student, enabling them to request healthcare services from designated centers, hospitals, and clinics nationwide, and to receive necessary treatments from specified pharmacies at a significant discount.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hussein, the University President, explained that a comprehensive medical examination is conducted for new students to ensure their medical fitness and a medical file is created for each student upon their enrollment at the university. Through these new medical services, students’ health conditions will be monitored, and parents will be notified if necessary. The university also places significant importance on students residing in university housing, conducting annual health check-ups before they are admitted to ensure they are medically fit to live in university housing.
The University President affirmed that the Board of Trustees and the university administration are committed to implementing the directives of the political leadership and the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education to graduate a generation of future leaders capable of achieving the goals of sustainable development and the state’s Vision 2030.
