FACULTY POSITION– Basic Sciences
The Faculty of Physical Therapy at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time, faculty member at the rank of: LECTURER, or ASSISTANT PROFESSOR or PROFESSOR. The candidates must hold A Ph.D. in Basic Sciences awarded by a recognized university and have teaching experience after Ph.D. The applicant must have an excellent command of English language and excellent use of computers in teaching. This position will begin October 2024. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The responsibilities for this position include the following: teaching, student advising, research and creative activities, service and cooperative extension, and administrative responsibilities. Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or clinical courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.
Academic and administrative responsibilities by providing effective guidance in all aspects of the Faculty’s academic program, research endeavors, and community outreach activities; teaching, student advising, research and creative activities, and cooperative extension. Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.
