KSIU Honors Distinguished Faculty in International Scientific Publishing
King Salman International University organized a ceremony at its Sharm El-Sheikh campus to honor distinguished faculty members for their excellence in international scientific publishing. The event was attended by university leaders, faculty members, and students.
The ceremony began with a speech by the university president, Prof. Ashraf Saad Hussein, who expressed pride in the achievements of the faculty, stating that international scientific publishing is a cornerstone for enhancing the university’s regional and global standing. During the event, faculty members who excelled in international publishing were honored, including those recognized among the top 2% of the most-cited scientists in Stanford University’s 2024 rankings. These scholars were acknowledged for their high citation rates in prestigious scientific journals. Some of the honored faculty members delivered speeches, expressing their gratitude for the university’s support, and highlighting the opportunities for international collaboration and research funding.
The university president also emphasized the importance of international scientific publishing as a key factor in improving the university’s academic ranking, noting plans to enhance collaboration with global research institutions.
