KSIU Welcomes High-Level Delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development
KSIU headed by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Saad Hussein, welcomed a high-level delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development, headed by Mr. Fahd Al-Bassam and Mr. Fahd Bin Eid, as part of strengthening the cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in higher education and development.
The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Amr Allam, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Maher Mesbah, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Private Universities, Dr. Ghadeer Hegazy, Assistant Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, and several distinguished academic leaders.
The visit aimed to enhance the collaboration between the university and the Saudi Fund for Development. The delegation toured the state-of-the-art facilities at the university’s AlTur and Sharm El-Sheikh campuses, including the Medical Simulation Center, advanced laboratories, workshops, and training spaces at the engineering and humanities faculties.
They also visited the covered sports hall, celebration hall, sports courts, and student housing, ensuring the integration of academic life with student activities, sports, and cultural events.
In his speech, Professor Dr. Ashraf Saad Hussein emphasized the significance of this visit in strengthening strategic partnerships between academic institutions and international development agencies, highlighting the role of the Saudi Fund for Development in supporting sustainable development projects in the education sector.
