Basic Sciences Students Visit Pharaoh’s Bath and Key Historical Sites in South Sinai
As part of King Salman International University’s commitment to blending academic knowledge with field experience, first-year students from the Field of Basic Sciences recently visited the Pharaoh’s Bath area. The visit focused on studying geological outcrops and tectonic processes associated with the region.
The students also explored Al Tur city, where they had the opportunity to learn about its historical landmarks, including the ancient St. Catherine’s Monastery and the historic Well of Yahya. The trip concluded with a visit to the Development Projects Authority in Wadi Village and Moses’ Bath, where students gained insight into the development of the region’s underground aquifer and the geothermal processes that heat the water in South Sinai.
