KSIU Organizes a Closing Ceremony for the Training Program of Tabuk University’s College of Tourism and Hospitality Students in Collaboration with Four Seasons Hotel
As part of the joint cooperation protocol between King Salman International University in South Sinai and Tabuk University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Salman International University, in collaboration with Four Seasons Hotel Sharm El-Sheikh, organized a special closing ceremony for the training program designed for students of the College of Tourism and Hospitality at Tabuk University.
The training program was conducted at both the educational hotel of King Salman International University in Sharm El-Sheikh and Four Seasons Hotel Sharm El-Sheikh. This approach ensured a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, providing students with a unique experience aligned with the latest global standards in the tourism and hospitality sector.
The training at the university’s educational hotel covered various essential areas, including room management, food and beverage management, housekeeping and front office operations, menu design, food production and safety, as well as marketing and sales. The program also included specialized courses in life skills. Meanwhile, the training at Four Seasons Sharm El-Sheikh focused on intensive field experience across different hotel departments, such as reservations, front office, restaurants, and guest services, allowing students to gain firsthand experience in a professional hospitality environment.
In addition to the professional training, the program featured recreational and sports activities, along with a comprehensive tourism program that introduced students to key landmarks and attractions in Sharm El-Sheikh. This contributed to enriching their practical knowledge and developing their professional skills.
The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ashraf Saad Hussein, KSIU President, Professor Dr. Mansour bin Zaid Al-Khathlan, Saudi Cultural Attaché in Egypt, Professor Dr. Saleh Hamed Al-Harbi, Vice President of Tabuk University for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Professor Dr. Majid Salah Bal’ala, Vice President of Tabuk University for Educational Affairs. Also present was Mr. Tamer Hussein, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Sharm El-Sheikh, along with a distinguished group of academics and officials.
During the ceremony, students were honored for their dedication and commitment throughout the training program. They expressed their gratitude for this valuable experience, which allowed them to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application in a real-world hospitality setting.
Attendees commended the efforts invested in the program and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in preparing qualified professionals for both local and international job markets.
