KSIU Organizes Introductory Day for (IEEE-KSIU) Branch

King Salman International University organized an Introductory Day for its Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE-KSIU) branch, reaffirming its commitment to encouraging students to participate in scientific and practical activities.

As the world’s largest technical organization, IEEE supports innovation, research, and development while offering students opportunities to learn, network with experts, and participate in scientific projects and competitions—enhancing their skills and expanding their career prospects.

The event, organized by IEEE-KSIU team members, introduced students to the branch’s goals and the benefits of joining. It also featured interactive and entertaining activities, including an info booth, face painting, and light snacks.

This event served as a prelude to the official IEEE-KSIU launch, set to take place during Ramadan, where more details about the branch’s mission and its roadmap for the season will be revealed.

Among the key activities planned for this semester:

  • Research competitions to develop students’ scientific skills.
  • Project competitions to encourage innovation.
  • Recreational breaks featuring engaging activities.
  • Movie night for a fun and memorable experience.
