KSIU Students Participate in the “Green Sharm El-Sheikh” Project
King Salman International University participated in the “Green Sharm El-Sheikh” initiative on May 18–19, 2025, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hussein, KSIU President. This reflects the university’s continuous support for national efforts aimed at environmental sustainability and climate action.
KSIU students actively engaged in a variety of field and awareness activities, including visits to renewable energy sites such as the eco-conscious “Sharm Bride” Hotel and solar power installations. The program also included educational tours to the Nabq Protected Area and the newly developed Fishermen’s Village—both highlighting real-life examples of sustainable development.
Participants took part in beach clean-up drives, environmental diving activities, and interactive sessions that promoted environmental values and practices.
This participation highlights KSIU’s social responsibility in fostering environmental awareness and empowering students to contribute to national sustainability goals, in alignment with Egypt’s vision for a more sustainable future.
