KSIU Organizes Workshop to Support Faculty in Securing Funded Research Projects
At King Salman International University, we continue to support our faculty in securing funded research opportunities by organizing specialized programs and workshops that enhance their research skills and expand avenues for scientific collaboration and funding.
In this context, and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hussein, President of KSIU, the university held two specialized workshops on preparing and writing research proposals at the Ras Sudr and El-Tur campuses, with active participation from faculty members and teaching assistants.
The workshops were led by Prof. Dr. Abdelghany El-Gendy, Dean of the Field of Desert Agriculture, who presented essential scientific and methodological approaches to drafting high-quality research proposals that meet the standards of both national and international funding agencies.
This initiative reflects KSIU’s strategic commitment to strengthening academic research capacity, advancing educational quality, and supporting sustainable development through impactful scientific contributions.
