KSIU Students Excel at the Second Conference for Student Leadership Activation in Sports Committees
As part of its commitment to empowering students to take active leadership roles in youth and sports initiatives, KSIU students proudly participated in the Second Conference for Student Leadership Activation for Sports Committee Members, organized by the Egyptian University Sports Federation under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and H.E. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports. The event was hosted in Ismailia with the participation of 22 public, national, and private universities.
Over two days, the conference featured a rich program of scientific and cultural activities:
Day 1: Opening ceremony and two lectures — “Sports Intolerance” by Dr. Fathy Nada, and “Sports as National Security” by Major General Ashraf Abdel Haq — followed by student activities and competitions.
Day 2: A lecture on “AI and University Sports” by Dr. Tarek Hegazy, a workshop on Leadership and Teamwork by Dr. Samir Ghoneim, applied workshops on organizing sports events, and a cultural performance by the Folk Arts Troupe at the Ismailia Cultural Palace.
The conference concluded with an honoring ceremony, where KSIU students were recognized for presenting one of the best proposals on reducing sports intolerance.
