KSIU Dentistry Students Achieve Top Ranks at the Galala International Dental Congress 2025
King Salman International University proudly celebrates the achievements of its Dentistry students, who secured top ranks at the Galala International Dental Congress 2025. The congress brought together participants from 24 governmental, private, and national universities across Egypt.
In the Comprehensive Clinical Case Presentation competition, fifth-year students Amr Gamal and Salma Hamdan achieved second place. Meanwhile, students Karim Omar, Ibrahim Mahmoud, and Salma Hamdan (fifth year), together with Israa Ahmed and Rawda Tarek (fourth year), secured fourth place in the Theoretical Questions competition.
The winning students were honored with financial prizes, the official congress shield, and certificates of recognition.
The congress was held under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Deputy Prime Minister, and chaired by Prof. Dr. Ehab El Sayed Hassanein, Vice President of Galala University. KSIU students’ participation was supervised by Prof. Dr. Geilan El Gendy, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Adel, Lecturer of Fixed Prosthodontics and competition coordinator.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Saad Hussein, KSIU President, praised the students’ exceptional performance, affirming that their success reflects the university’s commitment to academic excellence and applied learning, and wished them further achievements in their academic journey.
