KSIU Field of Medicine Holds Scientific Research Day for Fifth-Year Students

As part of its commitment to advancing scientific research and equipping students with practical skills, the Field of Medicine at King Salman International University organized Scientific Research Day for fifth-year students under the graduation project module Research Economics & Financing.

The event highlighted advanced stages of research planning and funding strategies. Students worked on identifying relevant funding opportunities, selecting the most suitable options, analyzing funders’ motivations and requirements, and preparing professional persuasive letters. They also developed structured research proposals, applied advanced writing techniques for clarity and impact, and completed required funding documentation with precision.

At the conclusion of the event, the top three projects were awarded in recognition of their outstanding quality and presentation. The judging panel – comprised of three faculty members from different medical disciplines – praised the students’ impressive performance, noting that their work reflects a strong grasp of scientific research principles and funding strategies, while strengthening their readiness for future academic and professional paths.
