KSIU Launches “Be Ready” Initiative to Prepare Students for the Job Market
As part of its commitment to academic and professional development, King Salman International University (KSIU) has launched the “Be Ready” Initiative at its El Tur Campus. The program was held under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and followed up by Prof. Ashraf Saad Hussein, KSIU President.
The two-week initiative aimed to equip students with essential skills for the labor market through a series of interactive workshops and practical training sessions.
Key focus areas included:
- Self-discovery and goal setting (personal and professional).
- Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and teamwork.
- Confidence-building and resilience for overcoming challenges.
Specialized modules featured CV writing using the STAR method, professional Elevator Pitch delivery, and smart financial and family planning strategies.
The program witnessed strong engagement from students, who demonstrated improved self-awareness, confidence, and decision-making skills, preparing them for both local and international career opportunities.
The university emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader developmental strategy to graduate highly skilled students capable of competing globally and contributing to sustainable development.
