KSIU Organizes Field Visit for Veterinary Medicine Students to MEVAC Factory
As part of its efforts to strengthen the link between academic study and industrial practice, King Salman International University organized a scientific field visit for third-year Veterinary Medicine students to the Middle East Veterinary Vaccines Factory (MEVAC) in New Salhia City. The visit was held under the framework of the University’s cooperation agreement with the factory.
During the visit, students observed the different stages of vaccine production, from development through packaging and distribution, while engaging with experts and specialists in the field. The experience provided practical insights into research and development processes, helping to clarify complex scientific concepts and equipping students with new skills relevant to their future careers.
This initiative underscores KSIU’s commitment to preparing graduates who are both academically grounded and professionally ready to meet the evolving challenges of the veterinary and pharmaceutical industries.
