KSIU Architecture Graduate Eng. Ahmed Hameed Salama Participates in “Future Visions for Cultural Heritage Preservation” Exhibition

As part of King Salman International University’s commitment to supporting its graduates and empowering them to showcase their creative achievements at national cultural platforms, Eng. Ahmed Hameed Salama, a graduate of the field of Architecture, participated in the “Future Visions for Cultural Heritage Preservation” exhibition organized by the National Organization for Urban Harmony under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, held at the Egyptian Opera House.

The exhibition serves as a national platform highlighting selected graduation projects from architecture and urban planning students across Egyptian universities, focusing on approaches to revitalizing and preserving heritage sites through sustainable development frameworks.

Eng. Ahmed represented KSIU with his distinguished graduation project titled “Revitalization of the Fishermen Village within Nabq Protected Area in Sharm El Sheikh,” which proposes sustainable architectural strategies that preserve authentic local identity while supporting community development and tourism.

The project was showcased among a group of innovative student works that reflect new design approaches to safeguarding Egypt’s architectural heritage and reimagining it as a driver of cultural and sustainable development.

This participation underscores KSIU’s dedication to fostering excellence among its students and graduates, while continuing to provide opportunities for them to engage in national events that highlight their talents, strengthen their connection to cultural and societal issues, and prepare them to contribute meaningfully to building a future that preserves Egypt’s architectural identity.
