KSIU Hosts the “New Beginning for Quality Assurance in Education” Initiative Under the Patronage of H.E. the Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly
In alignment with Egypt’s national efforts to promote a culture of quality and excellence in education, King Salman International University (KSIU) hosted the activities of the “New Beginning for Quality Assurance in Education” initiative, launched by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, under the patronage of H.E. the Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.
The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Ashraf Saad Hussein, KSIU President, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Gehan Salah Sadeq, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center.
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the university organized an extensive training day focused on the concept of quality, academic accreditation standards, and their role in advancing higher education systems. The program witnessed the participation of more than 230 students representing various academic fields at the university.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel Nasser, Executive Director of the initiative and Advisor to the President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education for Political Communication, along with Dr. Hussein Khater, Coordinator of the initiative’s training plan. They delivered interactive training sessions that encouraged discussion and active student engagement.
The initiative aims to support Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development in education by raising students’ awareness of quality standards, empowering them as active partners in institutional development, and enhancing their ability to contribute to improving academic programs. It also seeks to prepare a generation that is aware of its national identity and capable of leading future development.
Both Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdelnasser and Dr. Hussein Khater praised the high level of awareness demonstrated by KSIU students regarding quality and academic accreditation concepts. They emphasized that this reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen a culture of quality and encourage student participation in advancing the educational process and achieving institutional excellence.
