The event is part of the program’s ongoing initiative to host a series of interactive lectures and workshops aimed at connecting students with leading professionals and practitioners in the fields of interior design and furniture design, thereby bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application.
The event featured three prominent designers and entrepreneurs in the Egyptian design industry:
- Eng. Amr Orensa
- Eng. Mohamed El Haddad
- Designer Heba Mahfouz
The speakers discussed the historical evolution of interior design and furniture styles, and shared practical insights and real market experiences, highlighting contemporary creative and production practices within the local industry.

KSIU affirmed that hosting such events reflects its vision as a fourth-generation university focused on equipping students with applied skills and real-world exposure, empowering them to confidently enter the creative and design industries at both the national and international levels.
