- FACULTY POSITIONS – Computer Engineering
The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (Computer Engineering Program and Artificial Intelligence engineering Program) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire full- or part-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The candidates must hold A Ph.D. in Computer or Communication Engineering or a closely related field from a highly reputable university. Areas of special interest are cryptography, cybersecurity, information and network security, secure programming, telecommunication security, hardware security and related topics. At least 2 years of teaching experience after Ph.D. is required. The applicant must have an excellent command of the English language and the ability to use Information technology in teaching. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The responsibilities for this position include the following: teaching (3-4 courses / semester), student advising, research and creative activities, service and cooperative extension, and administrative responsibilities. Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or online courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.
