KSIU Celebrates World Arabic Language Day with a Cultural and Artistic Event in Sharm El-Sheikh
In line with its academic and cultural mission, King Salman International University celebrated World Arabic Language Day on Monday, December 15, 2025, at its Sharm El-Sheikh campus. The annual celebration, organized by the university since its inception, highlights the institution’s commitment to promoting the Arabic language as a vessel for identity and culture, and as a cornerstone for scientific and civilizational advancement, while integrating it across various academic disciplines.
The celebration featured a diverse range of artistic and literary performances. Students from the Sharm El-Sheikh and El-Tur campuses presented a distinguished program including singing, poetry recitation, and cultural competitions exploring the Arabic language across different academic fields. Professors also contributed with rich segments that highlighted the connection between the Arabic language, arts, poetry, and short stories.
The event showcased an elegant musical performance combining violin and organ rhythms in a symphony that captivated the audience, highlighting the language’s artistic and aesthetic expression. Students also performed a theatrical piece titled “Shadow Story”, which received widespread acclaim for its artistic depth and humanistic message.
An art exhibition ran alongside the celebration, displaying Arabic calligraphy, Islamic architectural models, and student translation projects, reflecting the integration of language with visual and intellectual creativity.
Representatives from several Sharm El-Sheikh schools, including teachers and students, attended the event and praised its organization and diverse segments. They also expressed admiration for the university’s advanced facilities and modern campus infrastructure. The celebration concluded with honoring all participants who contributed to its success, reflecting a spirit of belonging, appreciation, and continuous support for talent and creativity.
