KSIU Holds Awareness Seminars in Cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf Endowments under the “Correct Your Concepts” Initiative
King Salman International University hosted representatives of the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf Endowments across its three campuses in Ras Sur, El Tur, and Sharm El-Sheikh, from December 14 to 16, 2025, to organize a series of awareness seminars for university students. The seminars were held as part of the national initiative launched by the Ministry of Awqaf Endowments under the title “Correct Your Concepts.”
The initiative aims to address approximately 40 critical social and intellectual issues by raising awareness, correcting misconceptions, and building students’ personalities on sound intellectual and behavioral foundations, enabling them to develop balanced thinking and responsible conduct.
The seminars covered several key topics, most notably correcting misconceptions related to religious practices and social transactions, as well as addressing negative societal behaviors such as bullying and vandalism of public property. The discussions emphasized the importance of positive behavior and ethical values within the university community and society at large.
In addition, the seminars focused on promoting the values of citizenship, national belonging, and peaceful coexistence, while raising awareness of the dangers of addiction and the importance of maintaining public health. These efforts contribute to preparing a well-informed generation capable of confronting intellectual and societal challenges.
King Salman International University affirmed that hosting these seminars reflects its commitment to its social and developmental role and its keenness to cooperate with state institutions to enhance students’ intellectual and cultural awareness and promote positive values that support the development of Egyptian society.
