KSIU Holds Educational Seminar on “Physical Therapy and Early Prevention” at Sharm El-Sheikh Campus
King Salman International University (KSIU) continued its efforts to promote health awareness by organizing an educational seminar titled “Physical Therapy and Early Prevention” at the Field of Physical Therapy, Sharm El-Sheikh Campus. The event witnessed wide participation from students across various faculties.
A distinguished group of faculty members presented three key topics during the seminar:
- Initial procedures for handling burns and the importance of rapid intervention to minimize complications.
- The role of physical therapy in treating and rehabilitating bone injuries by improving mobility, strengthening muscles, and reducing reliance on surgery and medication.
- The importance of psychological support in boosting immunity and aiding recovery from breast cancer.
Speakers emphasized that physical therapy is essential for maintaining musculoskeletal health, while early prevention helps avoid many injuries through awareness, early detection, proper body posture, and improved physical fitness.
The seminar received significant interaction from attendees, reflecting KSIU’s ongoing commitment to enhancing health awareness and building a university community that is conscious of the importance of personal health care.
