KSIU Organizes a Student Trip Titled “A Journey Through History” for Sharm El-Sheikh and El Tur Campuses

King Salman International University organized a distinguished student trip titled “A Journey Through History” for students from its Sharm El-Sheikh and El Tur campuses, as part of the university’s commitment to enhancing students’ cultural and historical awareness and introducing them to Egypt’s most prominent historical and civilizational landmarks.

The trip began with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of Egypt’s most significant national tourism and cultural projects. During the visit, students explored the treasures of ancient Egyptian civilization and viewed a remarkable collection of artifacts presented through modern exhibition techniques that reflect Egypt’s rich historical legacy.

The program also included a visit to Old Cairo, where students toured Al-Muizz Street and the Al-Hussein district, experiencing the area’s authentic heritage atmosphere and learning about key Islamic landmarks that represent important chapters of Egypt’s long and diverse history.

Students expressed their appreciation for the trip, noting that it successfully combined learning and enjoyment while enriching their historical knowledge and strengthening their sense of cultural identity. They also praised the university’s organization and supervision, highlighting KSIU’s ongoing efforts to provide educational and cultural activities that enhance students’ overall university experience.
