KSIU Organizes the Fifth Scientific Research Day for Field of Medicine Students
In line with its commitment to fostering a culture of scientific research, King Salman International University organized the Fifth Scientific Research Day for first-year students at the Field of Medicine, as part of the “Foundations of Biomedical Research and Biostatistics” module.
The event featured research projects presented by the students, covering the essential steps in preparing research proposals—from selecting a suitable research idea, designing a complete research proposal, to creating presentations and scientific posters for evaluation by the judging panel.
The research projects focused on several key areas, including developing applicable research ideas in the medical field and building clear and effective structures for research proposals, demonstrating the students’ ability to link theoretical knowledge with practical application.
The top three groups with the best research ideas were honored, alongside the group that produced the best scientific poster.
The judging panel, consisting of four professors from various specialties within the Field of Medicine, praised the high scientific standard of the students, noting their professional presentation skills and the clear understanding they demonstrated of the principles and significance of scientific research in medicine.
The event was organized under the supervision of the KART Scientific Research Team, which played a vital role in executing the Scientific Research Day with excellence, reflecting the university’s dedication to supporting research and encouraging student innovation and achievement.
