KSIU Participates in African Skills 4 Germany Forum and ProRecognition Activities to Enhance Students’ International Career Pathways

King Salman International University (KSIU) participated in the forum organized by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cairo (AHK) to showcase the African Skills 4 Germany (AS4G) project. The participation reflects KSIU’s commitment to expanding professional development opportunities and international career pathways for its students.

The African Skills 4 Germany (AS4G) project is a strategic initiative aimed at connecting African, and specifically Egyptian, skilled professionals with the requirements of the German labor market in vocational and technical fields. The project provides extensive training opportunities in vital sectors, including industrial and craft professions, tourism and hospitality, healthcare and social services, as well as information technology.

During the forum, an informative seminar was held for KSIU students to explain the project and its support mechanisms. This initiative was conducted in partnership with:

  • German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cairo (AHK)
  • Goethe-Institut Cairo
  • Industry partners such as Deutsch Autobahn (Germany) and Ghabbour Foundation (Egypt)
  • Education Development Fund

The seminar provided students with comprehensive guidance on language qualification requirements in Germany (typically from A2 to B2), professional and academic skill requirements, and procedures for partial or full recognition of qualifications within Germany.

KSIU’s participation in the forum underscores the university’s commitment to aligning its academic and technological programs with international standards. It provides students with promising career opportunities and sustainable professional pathways in one of Europe’s largest economies, supporting their preparation for competitive global markets.
