KSIU Concludes First Phase of Rover Scouts Group Establishment Project

King Salman International University (KSIU) concluded the first phase of its Rover Scouts group establishment project as part of its ongoing efforts to support student activities and enhance leadership and teamwork skills among students.

The phase included a series of preparatory activities, beginning with interviews for applicants, followed by training workshops introducing participants to the fundamentals of scouting and helping develop their practical and leadership skills.

Students were then divided into three scouting teams: Wild Trackers, 99 Forest, and Pathfinders. The teams participated in practical competitions that included designing models and organizing a campfire event featuring scouting songs and theatrical performances, promoting creativity and teamwork.

At the conclusion of the phase, students demonstrated strong performance and readiness to participate in the official establishment of the Rover Scouts group during the upcoming academic year. A recognition ceremony was also held to honor participants for their efforts and outstanding engagement.

This initiative reflects KSIU’s commitment to creating a dynamic student environment that supports meaningful extracurricular activities and contributes to students’ personal and leadership development.
