KSIU Organizes Food Safety Awareness Campaign in Ras Sudr
As part of promoting public health awareness, students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at King Salman International University organized an awareness campaign targeting university students and the residents of Ras Sudr to raise awareness about food health and safety and help reduce food poisoning risks.
The campaign included practical guidance on safe meat storage methods, introducing different types of meat, explaining how to identify fresh and spoiled meat, and clarifying the significance of official meat inspection stamps to ensure quality, safety, and prevent fraud in meat products.
The initiative reflects the students’ commitment to applying their scientific knowledge in serving the community and promoting healthy practices that support prevention efforts and improve quality of life.
