KSIU Welcomes Russian Cultural Counselor to Strengthen International Collaboration in Sharm El Sheikh
King Salman International University (KSIU) welcomed Mr. Vadim Zaychikov, Russian Cultural Counselor and Head of the Russian Federal Agency for Cooperation representative office in Egypt, at its Sharm El Sheikh campus as part of its ongoing efforts to expand international engagement.
The visit focused on exploring opportunities for academic and cultural collaboration with Russian institutions, including student exchange programs, participation in summer schools, and the organization of joint cultural events such as a “Russian Cultural Day.” Discussions also covered potential training programs aimed at enhancing faculty development.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Faculty of Applied Languages, where the guest explored classrooms and language labs, and praised the performance of students in the Russian language program.
At the conclusion of the visit, Mr. Zaychikov expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and his interest in strengthening future cooperation. He also donated 535 Russian-language books to the faculty library in support of the educational process.
