Faculty Position Announcement
1. Lecturer / Assistant Professor / Professor in Physical Therapy
Specializations: Basic Sciences and Internal Medicine
The Faculty of Physical Therapy at King Salman International University (KSIU), Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or Professor in one of the following specializations:
- Physical Therapy for Basic Sciences
- Physical Therapy for Internal Medicine
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy from a recognized university and demonstrate relevant teaching experience following the completion of their doctoral degree. Candidates should possess an excellent command of the English language and be proficient in the use of educational technologies and computer applications for teaching and learning. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Position Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the faculty’s academic mission through:
- Teaching undergraduate courses in the relevant specialization;
- Academic advising and mentoring of students;
- Conducting research and scholarly activities;
- Participating in community engagement and professional service activities;
- Contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives; and
- Undertaking departmental and administrative responsibilities.
Teaching duties include classroom, laboratory, clinical, and online instruction; course preparation and development; maintaining expertise in the subjects taught; preparing instructional materials; consulting with students regarding course content; grading examinations, assignments, and presentations; and supervising independent study and research projects.
Faculty members are also expected to provide effective leadership and guidance in support of the faculty’s academic programs, research activities, accreditation efforts, and community outreach initiatives.

Demonstrator / Assistant Lecturer in Physical Therapy
The Faculty of Physical Therapy at King Salman International University (KSIU), Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, invites applications for a full-time Teaching Assistant position at the rank of Demonstrator or Assistant Lecturer in Physical Therapy.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized institution. Candidates should demonstrate an excellent command of the English language and proficiency in the use of educational technologies and computer applications for teaching and learning.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Position Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the faculty’s academic and administrative activities through:
- Assisting faculty members in teaching laboratory, practical, and clinical courses;
- Supporting student learning and clinical training activities;
- Assisting with laboratory preparation and instructional support;
- Participating in community engagement and professional service activities; and
- Undertaking departmental and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
