KSIU Student Wins Grand Prize at Huawei ICT Competition 2025–2026 Global Finals in China
King Salman International University (KSIU) proudly congratulates student Mahmoud Ahmed Alam El-Din on achieving a remarkable international accomplishment by winning the Grand Prize, Gold Medal, and Trophy as part of the Egyptian team in the Computing Track at the Huawei ICT Competition 2025–2026 Global Finals, held in Shenzhen, China.
The Grand Prize represents the highest level of recognition in the competition and highlights the exceptional capabilities of KSIU students in technology, innovation, and international competition.
Prof. Ashraf Saad Hussein, President of KSIU, praised the achievement, emphasizing that it reflects the university’s success in preparing highly qualified graduates capable of competing at a global level and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements and international labor market demands.
The university also recognized the efforts of Dr. Wael Mohamed Fawaz, faculty member at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and coordinator of the Huawei Academy at KSIU, for his academic guidance and support throughout the competition journey.
