KSIU Students Begin Field Training at Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh

King Salman International University (KSIU) students from the Faculties of Tourism and Hospitality, Administrative Sciences, and Al-Alsun and Applied Languages have begun their field training program at Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, as part of the university’s strategy to strengthen applied education and link academic study with the requirements of the labor market through partnerships with leading tourism and hospitality institutions.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hussein, President of KSIU, affirmed that field training represents one of the core pillars of the university’s educational model, offering practical experience that helps refine students’ skills and prepare them to compete in the job market. He noted that the collaboration with Four Seasons reflects the university’s commitment to providing training opportunities within globally recognized institutions that apply the highest quality standards.

Mr. Kai Winkler, General Manager of Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh, welcomed the university’s students, affirming that training within a professional work environment gives students real-world experience that develops their professional skills and enhances their readiness to work in the tourism and hospitality sector.

The program included orientation sessions on the objectives of the training, presentations on quality, security, and safety standards, and working procedures within hotel facilities, alongside guided tours across the hotel’s various departments, where students explored the operational systems and hospitality services delivered according to the latest international standards.

This program comes as part of a series of initiatives implemented by KSIU to provide integrated educational experiences that combine academic qualification with practical training, contributing to the preparation of graduates who possess the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to meet the demands of the labor market, both locally and globally.

KSIU. Learning where excellence lives.
