FACULTY POSITION – ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
The Faculty of Engineering at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire a full-time, faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. The candidates must hold A Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a closely related field from a highly reputable university, and at least three years of teaching experience after Ph.D. The applicant must have an excellent command of English language, excellent use of computers in teaching, and a cooperative personality. The candidates must demonstrate commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, experience in engaging students in research, a significant record of publications in refereed journals, as well as a solid record in research, and solid industrial experience. This position will begin on September 3, 2023. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The responsibilities for this position include the following: teaching (2-3 courses/semester), student advising, research and creative activities, service and cooperative extension, and administrative responsibilities. Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic researcher who is committed to excellence in research and teaching within a multicultural environment. The candidates should have the ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate authentic learning experiences and assessments incorporating contemporary tools and resources to maximize content learning in context and to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes identified in program outcomes.
