Program Description
A program in civil engineering in which provides drinking and irrigation water and its treatment is studied in addition to sewage networks and wastewater treatment technologies, taking into account environmental impact assessment, solid and toxic waste management, and finally solving problems in a sustainable manner.
Advantages of the Program

With water scarcity and increasing environmental risks, the graduate of this program has become a
highly needed currency
Graduate attributes
- Understand concepts related to the environment and its problems related to water.
- Photography of the environmental problem and its presentationand classification of influences.
- Apply engineering principles to improve the quality of the environment.
- Develop engineering solutions for environmental problems.
- Promote all aspects of environmental sustainability, including air,
water, soil and other environmental issues, such as mitigation of natural hazards, and monitor and understand the consequences
of human activities on the environment, taking into account the ethical implications of the proposed solutions.
- Integrate knowledge, develop personal skills and build human
resources to achieve sustainable water and environmental
resources.
Learning Outcomes
- Selection of appropriate and sustainable techniques for building
buildings, infrastructure and water structures; using numerical
techniques, physical measurements or testing by applying a full
set of civil engineering concepts and techniques: structural
analysis and mechanics, material properties and strength,
surveying, soil mechanics and fluid mechanics.
- Optimize the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures,
foundations and structures of land retention, transport and traffic,
roads and airports, railways, health works, irrigation, water
resources and harbors; and any other discipline-related area.
- Planning and management of construction operations; and
addressing the defects of construction, instability and quality. And
to maintain safety measures in construction and materials.
- Dealing with tenders, contracts and financial issues including
project insurance and guarantees; and environmental impact
assessment for civil engineering projects.
- Use the principles of engineering, soil science, biology and
chemistry to develop solutions to environmental problems.
Improving recycling, waste disposal, public health and combating
water and air pollution. Address global issues, such as unsafe
drinking water, climate change and environmental sustainability.
