Ahmed Afifi

Dr. Afifi earned his Ph.D. from Helwan University, Egypt in 2011 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Faculty of Arts and Designs, King Salman International University (KSIU), with Twenty-three years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Afifi worked as Head of Department and Assistant Professor at Al Ghurair University, Dubai (2018-2022). He also served as an Assistant Professor at Jordan University (2017-2018), Yarmouk University, Jordan (2012-2015), The High Institute of Applied Arts, Egypt (2015-2017), Benha University (2016), Badr University (2016 & 2023), and New Cairo Academy (2016).

Dr. Afifi current research interests focus on Environmental Design, Sustainable Design, AI Applications in Design, and Furniture Design.
