Biography

Dr. Alzughbi earned her Ph.D. from the Department of German Language, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2016 and is currently an Assistant Professor of Contrastive Linguistics and Translation at the Faculty of Applied Languages, King Salman International University (KSIU), with eighteen years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Alzughbi worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of German Language at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University. She also worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of German Language at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, Badr University, Cairo (2017-2020) and as an Assistant Professor at the Department of German Language, Faculty of Arts, Helwan University (2007-2008). Additionally, she has experience as a Translator in various institutions and has instructed numerous language courses at multiple language centers.

Dr. Alzughbi current research interests focus on Translation (Arabic-German), Pragma linguistic, Contrastive Linguistics, Dialogue Analysis, and Intercultural Studies.
