Biography
Dr. Sayed earned her Ph.D. from Cairo University, Egypt in 2016 and is currently an Assistant Lecturer of Resilience & Sustainability at the Architecture Program, Faculty of Architecture, King Salman International University (KSIU), with Fourteen years of teaching experience.
Before joining KSIU, Dr. Sayed worked as a Flying Faculty for BIFCA and Link Tutor for BIFCA & SHAPE at Birmingham City University, Faculty of Landscape Architecture from 2020 to 2023. She was a Lecturer at Cairo University, Faculty of Urban Planning from 2015 to 2019, specializing in Green Cities Planning & Design. She also served as a Lecturer Assistant at the American University in Cairo (AUC), School of Architecture from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, she was a Lecturer at MSA University, Cairo, Egypt, School of Architecture from 2010 to 2020.
Dr. Sayed current research interests focus on climate change – cities resilient design & planning.
