Biography
Dr. Tahoun earned her Ph.D. from Cairo University, Egypt and is currently an Associate Professor of German Language and Literature at the Faculty of Applied languages, King Salman International University (KSIU), with twenty-eight years of teaching experience.
Before joining KSIU, Dr. Tahoun has worked as an Associate Professor, Faculty of Arts, Helwan University. Then, she worked as an Associate Professor, Bilateral master program of Teaching German as a foreign language, Ain Shams University, Egypt and Leipzig University, Germany. She also worked as an accredited translator at the German Embassy in Cairo.
Dr. Tahoun current research interests are focused on German literature, Intercultural communication, teaching German as a foreign language, translation and Interpreting.
