Samar Assem

Ms. Assem earned her MSc from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2018 and is currently an Assistant Lecturer of Linguistics at the English Program, Faculty of Applied Languages, King Salman International University (KSIU), with fourteen years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Ms. Assem worked as a Lecturer at the English Department, Nile University at the Faculty of Languages, Modern Science and Arts University (MSA), and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Smart Village, Egypt. She also worked as an English Language Instructor at Nasser Higher Military Academy, the Armed Forces College of Medicine, the Ministry of Defense Language Institute (MODLI), and the Canadian International College (CIC), 6th October City.

Ms. Assem current research interests focus on Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Language Engineering, and Natural Language Processing.
