Biography

Dr. Baliegh earned her PhD from Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, Cairo and is currently an Assistant Professor of interior Design/Interior Architecture at the Faculty of Arts and designs, King Salman International University (KSIU), with ten years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Baliegh has worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Interior Design and Furniture at the Higher Institute of Applied Arts in the Fifth Settlement from 2013 to 2016. She then worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Arts at Sixth of October University in October City, Cairo, from 2018 to 2023. Currently, she holds the position of Lecturer at the Faculty of Art and Design at Medina University, a role she assumed in 2023. In addition to her university teaching experience, she has also held various other teaching positions. she has worked as a Lecturer for select seminars at the Egyptian Architecture House in Cairo. Furthermore, she has taught at the Arts Education Center for Children in Maadi, Cairo, and at Nour International Schools in Maadi, where she instructed eleventh and twelfth-grade students aspiring to join colleges of art and design.

 Dr. Baliegh current research interests are focused on Egyptian heritage, community development within Egyptian society, and technological progress, including advancements in programs, machines, and new design theories.
