Ahmed Fathi Mohamed Ahmed

Dr. Fathi earned his Ph.D. from Cairo University and is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology at the Faculty of pharmacy, King Salman International University (KSIU), with thirteen years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Fathi worked in the department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University as a teaching and research assistant (2012-2018) and a Lecturer (2018-2023). He also worked as a lecturer of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the faculty of Pharmacy, Misr International University (MIU) (2018-2019). Then, he worked as a lecturer of Pharmacology & Biochemistry, The British University in Egypt (BUE) (2019-2020) (2022-2023). After that, He has worked as an Associate Professor of the same specialty at Cairo University since 2023.

Dr. Fathi current research interests are focused on Behavioral studies, Neurodegenerative, neuropsychiatric, neurodevelopmental disorders, Neuroinflammation, microglial activation and polarization.
