Ahmed Refaat

Dr. Refaat earned his PhD from Cairo University, Egypt and is currently an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, King Salman International University (KSIU), with more than seventeen years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Refaat has worked as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University (2014-2020), an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Higher Technical Institute (10th of Ramadan) (2020), an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Nile University(2015), an Assistant Professor of Energy Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, French University in Egypt (2014), an Assistant Lecturer of Chemical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University(2010-2014) and a Teaching Assistant of Chemical Engineering at Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University (2007-2010).

Dr. Refaat current research interests are focused on Renewable Energy, Environmental Engineering, Biofuels, Waste management, Waste-to-Energy, Water-food-energy Nexus, Nanotechnology and Education.
