Ahmed Thabet Ahmed

Dr. Thabet earned his MSc from Sohag University, Egypt and is currently an Assistant Lecturer of Experimental Physics at the Faculty of Engineering, King Salman International University (KSIU), with more than seven years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Thabet has worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Faculty of Engineering, Egyptian Russian University (ERU) (2021-2022) and a Teaching Assistant. At the Faculty of Engineering, Egyptian Russian University (ERU) (2016-2021).

Dr. Thabet current research interests are focused on Fabrication of thin ‎films for optoelectronics applications, Laser-material interactions‎ and laser applications, Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), Plasma Physics and its Applications, plasma diagnostics and Quantum optics.
