Biography

Dr. Hamed earned her Ph.D. from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2014 and is currently an Associate Professor of Veterinary Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, King Salman International University (KSIU), with seventeen years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Hamed worked as a Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer, and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University.

Dr. Hamed current research interests focus on studying the underlying mechanisms of several diseases such as cerebral ischemia, chronic kidney diseases, chronic heart diseases, benign prostate hyperplasia, prostate cancer, hepatic toxicity, and diabetes mellitus, as well as novel strategies for the treatment of diseases such as immunotherapy, gene knockdown, photo thermal ablation of hyperplastic tissues and cancerous cells, and regenerative medicine with mesenchymal stem cells.
