Biography
Dr. Magdy earned his Ph.D. from Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, and Minia University, Egypt within the framework of a joint supervision program sponsored by the Egyptian government. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, King Salman International University (KSIU), with Thirteen years of teaching experience.
Before joining KSIU, Dr. Magdy worked as an Assistant Professor at Aswan University (2019–2022) and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (2020–2022). He also held positions as a Lecturer, Assistant Lecturer, and Demonstrator at Aswan University.
Dr. Magdy current research interests focus on Smart Grid, Power System Control, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage Systems, and Digital Control.
