Biography

Dr. Abouelsaad earned his Ph.D. from University of Manitoba, Canada and is currently an Associate Professor of Horticulture at the Faculty of Desert agriculture, King Salman International University (KSIU), with twenty-two years  of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr.  Abouelsaad worked as an assistant professor at Damnhour University, Egypt and he worked as Ateache assistant at Alexandria University and The University of Manitoba, Canada. 

 

Dr. Abouelsaad current research interests are focused on the enhancement of yield, quality traits and environmental stress tolerance (e.g. salinity and drought) for Horticultural crops, using modern molecular biology, biochemical and biotechnological tools.
