Biography
Dr. Elbasuini earned his Ph.D from Tanta University, Egypt and is currently an Associate Professor of Animal Production at the Faculty of Desert Agriculture, King Salman International University (KSIU), with eighteen years of teaching experience.
Before joining KSIU, Dr. Elbasuini has worked as Teaching Assistant at the Animal Production department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, Egypt (2006 – 2011). Then, he worked as an Assistant lecturer at the Animal Production department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, Egypt (2011-2016). He was a Research scholar at Aquaculture Department, Aquatic animal nutrition laboratory lab (Dr. Koshio Lab) | Kagoshima University | 890-0056 JAPAN (2014-2016). Additionally, He worked as a visiting professor – Biochemistry and Technology of Marine Food and Resources Department, Microbiology lab (Dr. Maeda Lab) | Kagoshima University | 890-0056 JAPAN (2017-2019). He also worked as an Assistant Professor – Animal Production (Fish Production) at the Animal Production department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, Egypt (2016-2021). He has worked as an Associate Professor – Animal Production (Fish Production) at the Animal Production department, Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, Egypt since 2021.
Dr. Elbasuini current research interests are focused on modulating the performance and well-being of animals [aquatic organisms] using sustainable eco-friendly approaches in different systems, addressing critical challenges, and exploring innovative solutions for sustainable food production.
