Biography

Dr. Hussein earned her Ph.D. from Ain Shams University, Egypt and is currently an Associate Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, King Salman International University (KSIU), with sixteen years of teaching experience.

Before joining KSIU, Dr. Hussein worked at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) for fifteen years in the Microbiology and Immunology Department at the Faculty of Medicine. She was responsible for teaching Medical Microbiology for undergraduate and postgraduate students, served as the Head of 6th Year Control, worked at the Quality Unit of the College, was a Member of the Arab Student Exchange Committee (2019), and served as the Coordinator of the Medical Ethics Committee (2021).

Dr. Hussein current research interests focus on Multidrug-Resistant Bacteria and PCR.
