Biography
Dr. Ali earned his Ph.D. through a joint supervision program between Suez Canal University, Egypt, and Trento University, Italy, in 2015 and is currently an Associate Professor of Physics at the Faculty of Basic Sciences, King Salman International University (KSIU), with Eight years of teaching experience.
Before joining KSIU, Dr. Ali worked as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University, and previously as an Assistant Professor in the same faculty. He also held research positions at ALBA Synchrotron (Spain), ESRF (France), and ELETTRA (Italy). Additionally, he served as the Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at Suez Canal University.
Dr. Ali current research interests are focused on the structural determination of materials using X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), emission (XES), and powder diffraction (XRD). His research includes materials for the energy economy, particularly lithium-rich cathodes, nanomagnetic materials, and crystallography.
