King Salman International University (KSIU) is actively engaged in building partnerships for goal implementation along three axes: first, relationships with NGOs and government for SDGs policy; second, cross-sectoral dialogue about SDGs; third, collaboration for SDG best practice. Sustainable Development Forum Recognition: KSIU was recognized by the Sustainable Development Forum for its efforts in organizing consultative meetings that promote dialogue around sustainable development practices. These meetings facilitate discussions on how to effectively implement the SDGs within local communities. Examples of these meetings:

KSIU signed cooperation protocol with National Water Research Center: The Protocol stipulates the comprehensive development of North and South Sinai through innovative implementation of technology in the fields of natural resource management and water risk management and its interface with societal consumption
- KSIU Signs Cooperation Protocol with Egypt Healthcare Authority
- The protocol between EHA FIELD HOSPITAL and King Salman International University in South Sinai stipulates in cooperation in the fields of training and continuing medical education, including training graduate students in the medical field in hospitals affiliated with Egypt Healthcare Authority in the governorate which includes “Sharm El-Sheikh International, Ras Sudr” hospitals or the “Abu Dis, Dahab, Nuweiba, and Taba” hospitals after the operation. According to this protocol, cooperation is taking place to transfer the EHA FIELD HOSPITAL, which participated in the medical insurance for the activities of the COP27 climate conference, to the university’s headquarters, in order to provide services and health care to the beneficiaries of comprehensive health insurance in the city of Al-Tur in South Sinai through this hospital, with the addition of a building for surgeries Within the university to provide more health care services to the people of the city of Al-Tur

- King Salman International University cooperates with South Sinai governorate
- King Salman International University cooperates with South Sinai governorate in several aspects of empowerment such as heritage conservation and listing activities in the governorate. South Sinai governorate has initiated a permanent committee for “Built Heritage Confinement, Listing and Registration”, which include officials from the governorate in addition to academic staff from King Salman International University within the cooperation framework between the University and South Sinai governorate

- The Protocol stipulates that the two entities join hands in awareness raising for sustainable development and SDGs goals working on policy shaping and implementation across various governmental and non-governmental bodies in South Sinai
- KSIU Signs Cooperation Agreement with Egyptian Agricultural Bank
The signed protocols aligns with the state’s plan for sustainable development (Egypt Vision 2030). It stipulates opening new venues to the provision of full scholarships in partnership with relevant civil institutions in areas of strategic interest, especially in the plant production program in desert areas. The protocol aims to preparing qualified graduates to deal with the current problems related to desert agriculture and hence attend to countering poverty and green sustainable economy.
